What do I need to take a WebCT course?
You will need a computer, an internet connection and a web browser.
Cable or DSN connection is preferred.
Dialup of 56k is slow, but will work. URI provides free dialup of
56k connection to faculty, staff and students. Click the link,
Windows 2000,
Windows XP,
Mac OS 9+,
Mac OS X, to configure your computer for the dialup
connection.

Web Browser - certain versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape,
AOL and Mozilla work with WebCT. Check the "Browser Tune-up"
link on the left.
