Assistant Vice President for Research and Intellectual Property Management and Commercialization

David R. Sadowski is the Assistant Vice President for Intellectual Property Management and Commercialization. Mr. Sadowski will serve to foster faculty entrepreneurship as it relates to the University’s research enterprise to oversee the management of the University’s intellectual property, and to direct the University’s technology transfer operations.

In addition to his duties as Assistant Vice President, he serves as the Executive Director of the URI Research Foundation.  His duties as the URIRF Executive Director include the valuation, market analysis, commercialization of protected intellectual property, and the development of business relationships with corporate, private, and government sectors.
