Founded in 1999, the Women's Ice Hockey team competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). The players and coaching staff continue to work hard to earn a name for URI in the exciting sport of women's ice hockey.

Robert Morris University, IL was the clear #1 choice in this final ranking, earning 12 first place votes. Last months #1 Michigan State falls to #2 earning 4 first place votes. Rhode Island rounds out the top 3 earning 1 first place vote. Minnesota is the bigger mover this month jumping three spots to #4.
The top 8 teams have earned they're way to the ACHA Womens National Championship March 8-12 at the Alice Noble Ice Arena inWooster, OH.
