State Building Codes Course
Provides the necessary basic code administration and enforcement training for officials who will be working with the State Building Code. Candidates for the course must have experience in the construction/inspection field to benefit from the course. State Building Code law requires attendance and successful completion of course requirements for local officials to be certified by the Building Codes Standards Committee. State Building Code Course is offered in Providence. Classes meet weekly for ten three-hour sessions including mid-term and final exam.
