Section 3 - Web Design Utilizing Graphics
Use
Dreamweaver and Image Ready in this 30-hour course
to explore and express visual ideas to build websites. Learn
how to select innovative graphics from the internet's
best sites and test designs across platforms using
various browsers to ensure consistent design and navigation.

Demonstrate

technology in this 3-hour session through completion

Advanced Print Media & Web Design Certification
This course is a 102-hour noncredit certificate program offered two evenings per week. Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Dates: February 17, 2009 – June 11, 2009, Program Fee $2550
Section 1 - Advanced Design Software
Further
develop your skills to produce customized results using
design software Photoshop Creative Suite and InDesign. Work
with advanced techniques utilizing Photshop's layer
sets and to create advertising effects, textured background
effects and customized special effects for your multi-layered
compositions. Learn to create a document using
InDesign with imported graphics, text effects, automating
text and to utilize pen and beziers.

Section 2- Marketing Essentials for Designers
This
class surveys the basic principles of marketing and
their applications pertaining to the success of a professional
designer. Explore the basic foundation of a client/designer
relationship. Expanding a client base, business
practices, professional resources as well as a variety
of useful marketing tactics will be discussed.

Learn
to enhance your website with customized Flash animation
components. Create frame-to-frame animations,
incorporate motion, complex animation, object interactivity
as well as sound elements.
