ASFCCE Alumni Chapter

The URI ASFCCE chapter is an active group of Alumni who meet on a regular basis, helping to better the CCE program, honoring their fellow alumni, as well as meeting on a social level. All members are dues-paying members of the URI Alumni Association and have significant appreciation towards their alma mater.  Contact our chapter President for more information - Joyce Dolbec ’95 at 401-766-2209.

Events

Lunch Bunch Book Club - In the spring of 2003, the Chapter started its first book club. The club meets the first Tuesday of the month and discusses top sellers as well as the classics. If you would like more information or would like to join the book club, please contact Deanna Payette at 401-647-7401 (evening). If you are looking for a good way to spend time with your URI friends, join the ASFCCE chapter’s “Lunch Bunch.” This group meets on a monthly basis and heads out to enjoy the company of good friends and great food. If you would like to join the Lunch Bunch, please contact Anna Demetrakas ’95 at 401-946-0550 or Dale Bianco ’93 at 401-737-2966 for more information.

Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society

Established in 1945, the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to the advancement of scholarship and to the recognition of nontraditional students continuing their higher education. At the URI Feinstein Providence Campus we are proud to host the society’s local The Epsilon Rho Chapter, which recognizes the outstanding achievements of ASFCCE students who excel in the classroom while handling life's competing responsibilities.
