Enrollment Services offers a referral and placement service to students seeking employment. Additionally, at the beginning of each Fall semester, a Student Job Fair is held in the Student Memorial Union to assist students in finding jobs on campus. Eligibility criteria for student employment can be found below.

Students must complete the appropriate paperwork, including an I-9 form and a drug-free form, through their University employer before beginning their employment.  Students are paid biweekly at an hourly rate for the hours worked. Your employment award cannot be deducted from your term bill.

Federal Work Study (FWS)
This federally supported program provides part-time employment during the academic year.  The jobs may either be with University departments or with off-campus nonprofit, nonsectarian, nonpolitical agencies; federal, state, or local public agencies; or for-profit organizations.

Your Federal Work Study award represents the maximum amount you are allowed to earn during the academic year.  To view this information, log onto

University Payroll
The University also provides student employment funds. Your eligibility to participate in this program is determined by the Office of Enrollment Services.

Students are able to fill out their W4's and sign up for direct deposit directly on e-campus. The W-4 information, once updated, will take effect immediately. The direct deposit, however, takes on pay period to take effect. The first pay period in which the student signs up for DDP, we send a zero balance electronic file to their bank to make sure all of the information they entered into the system is correct. If everything transmits correctly, the second pay period will be directly deposited.
