Mackal Group Exercise Class Descriptions

 

Abs Express: Strengthen all the muscles of your core and sculpts your way to the flat, chiseled belly you’ve always wanted in only 20 minutes!

Beach Body Bootcamp: Cardio and sculpting drills to get your body ready for the beach! Prepare to leave sweating!

Cardio Ab Fusion: Each class is set to motivating music that will get your heart pumping and your body moving, focusing on cardiovascular endurance and abdominal strength.

Cardio Kick: This is a basic, high-energy kickboxing class where you are guaranteed to burn calories and transform into a lean, mean, kickboxing machine!

Hard Bodies: This class takes strength training to a whole new level of fat burning and muscle building. If you want that defined chiseled look of today’s hot

celebs, then this class is just what you’re looking for!

 

Kick and Sculpt: Learn the basics of kickboxing and sculpt a lean body with our most energetic instructors! This high energy class is guaranteed to improve overall muscle tone and cardiovascular fitness.

Meg’s Mix: You will never be bored in this class! The instructor will create a unique blend of cardio and sculpting exercises each week to keep you on your toes!

 

Pi-Yo Strength: Combine the art of yoga, Pilates, and dance for a balanced, unique approach to the mind and body workout. Perfect for all fitness levels, PiYo is a fusion of flowing movement designed to make you strong, stretched, and centered.

 

Powerhouse: Pilates calls the core your “powerhouse.” This class will blend matwork and strength training to sculpt a sleek, solid body!

Ram Spin: This indoor cycling class is great for everyone! Each ride will be creatively different as the instructor leads through a series of positions to simulate an outdoor ride. Towels and water bottles are a must! * Be sure to show up 15 minutes early to reserve a bike.

Spin to the Core: A heart and body pump combination of our indoor cycling Ram Spin class and core strengthening exercises.

Spring Break Sculpt: Tighten up every muscle of your body in time for spring break with various strength exercises!  


Step & Sculpt: The perfect total body workout combines aerobic step routines with various muscle toning exercises that will burn some serious calories.

Turbokick: This is the ultimate cardiovascular challenge that includes bouts of dance type intervals, easy to follow combinations, and kickboxing specific strength/ endurance training. With an upbeat and rhythmical flow, you will have a GREAT time moving to the music.

 

Yoga: Enjoy this Vinyasa and Hatha style approach which features a flowing sequence of poses linked with breath that invigorate your mind and challenge your muscles.  This practice will help to instill the mind, body and spiritual strength through a series of postural, breathing, and meditation techniques. Benefits include: stress release, weight control, improved body alignment and flexibility, all levels of fitness are welcome to attend. (A & B Classes do not differ in level of difficulty).

Zumba: Avoid monotony in your workouts with this fun choreographed aerobic style dance workout that focuses on Latin rhythm and moves. Experience Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Cha-Cha that are all not only great for the body, but also for the mind.  It is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for all levels of fitness!
