Tour Calendar
Spring tours begin February 6 and continue through April 27, 2012.
The URI student tour guides want to give you a first-hand view of The University of Rhode Islands beautiful campus. Approximately 90 minutes, the tour provides the opportunity to visit academic buildings, the library, residence halls, dining halls, recreation facilities as well as the student union.
Admission Information Sessions
Since you're the most qualified person to determine which school provides the best fit for you, come visit and see for yourself why the University of Rhode Island receives national and international recognition for our innovative approach to higher education. We encourage you to take a tour and attend an information session to make the most of your visit. This way you'll be able to ask questions of an admission counselor, and spend time with a URI student – your tour guide!
The Admission Counselors invite you to attend The University of Rhode Island Information Sessions. The Information Sessions give an overview of URI, focusing on the application process, as well as a general overview of academics, athletics, and student life. The Information Sessions are meant to be paired with the campus tours and can be attended after the 10:00 a.m. tour or before the 12:30 p.m. tour. No registration is required!
Parking

Enter campus from Route 138 onto Upper College Road and proceed past the Office of Admission.

Continue through the first intersection (4-way stop sign) to the first building on the right, the Visitor Center (45 Upper College Rd., Kingston, RI 02881).

The Visitors Center staff will assist you with parking information, and provide you with a map of campus and directions to the locations where tours start and information sessions are held.

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to a scheduled Tour or Information Session to allow time for parking.

Parking is not available in the Admission Office lot.

Self Guided Tour
Visiting us on a day there is no tour? Pick up a Self Guided Tour at the Visitors Center, Memorial Union Information Desk, the Admission Office or print here.
Group Tours
Special tours and information sessions are typically reserved for schools or organizations that would like to visit the University of Rhode Island with a group of 10 or more people.
